            We are a cooperative music studio in Saint Paul offering professional voice and piano instruction.

Looking for piano lessons in Saint Paul? Or private voice lessons?  We offer piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities, classical training and popular music styles.  Our voice instructors are professional teachers and singers, with decades of experience.

St.Paul Music Lessons  is a cooperative, teacher-owned lesson studio located in a private home in the West 7th/XCEL Center Area of St. Paul, MN. Just 2 blocks from West 7th in the Little Bohemia Neighborhood we are:

LESSON RATES---Weekly lessons.

Tuition is paid on a Quarterly system.                                                                                       Quarters run 11-12 weeks, (check the lesson schedule page), lessons are weekly.  These are private lessons, one-on-one, so students may begin at any time and the tuition will be prorated.

Tuition for the quarter is due before/at the first lesson, payable in 1 or 2-payments. The second half tuition is due the 5th week. New and potential voice students may schedule a one-time lesson evaluation before committing to the entire quarter. Ask about scheduling a one-time lesson. The cost is $40/for this 45-minute evaluation.

Voice Lessons---$27/30 minutes $37/45 minutes  $47/60 minutes

Paired Voice Lessons*--- $30/ 30 minutes  $40/45 minutes

Piano Lessons---$21/30 minutes   $ 32/45 minutes for adult and intermediate students

Students may begin at any time during the session, provided there is space, and tuition will be prorated for the remaining lessons of the quarter.

These are private, one on one lessons, *(with the exception of Paired Voice Lessons), taught by licensed music instructors. 

Most beginning piano students need only a 30 minute lesson,
but 45-minute lessons are also available.                                                                                                                    

Adult and intermediate level students need 45 minute lessons.  45 or 60 minute voice lessons are recommended for ages 18 through adult and for voice students with prior vocal training;  however, 30-minute lessons are usually sufficient for beginners.

Cancellation Policy: Please schedule your lessons carefully. Your tuition payment guarantees your time-slot. Students are expected to be at lessons each week.  Refunds are not given for student absences. Last minute cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for lesson make-ups. Lesson make-ups are available during designated make-up days, but space is limited. These are courtesy lessons and it is the student's responsibility to schedule time for a lesson make-up. 

 

LESSON RATES---Non-weekly lessons

Individual, single lessons are available for individuals who do not want or need weekly lessons, or who need greater flexibility.

PUNCH CARDS    5-lesson card, good for 6 months,  flexible scheduling avail M-Th and Sat---a "30" card is 30 minute lesson, and a "45" card is a 45 minute lesson.

Voice Evaluation +Four 30's--   $145

Voice 45's--       $185

Piano 30's--        $105

Piano 45's--         $160

INDIVIDUAL LESSON RATES (non-weekly, pay as you go)

Voice--$30 per half hour                     Piano--$24 per half hour

                $40 per 45 minutes                            $35 per 45 minutes

Lesson Schedule

The studio operates on a quarterly schedule, but these are private, one-on-one lessons, so new students may begin lessons at any time, provided there is space. Tuition is prorated to the remaining weeks of each quarter. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view information on Summer Lessons.

Summer Session-------June 11th-August 25th            8-11 weeks

YES! We are scheduling Summer Lessons. Teachers will be adjusting their schedules to accommodate students wanting summer lessons. We teach EARLY in the day: morning, afternoon and evening.

Summer lessons are available Monday through Thursday, and Saturday by appointment only. Students who normally attend lessons after school are welcome to change their lesson time to fit their summer schedule.

The Summer Quarter is a flexible 8-11 weeks, to offer time off for vacations (for both teachers and students) and the July 4th holiday.
